On a certain day in August, a “gate to another world” suddenly opened during midday in Ginza, Tokyo. Surging forth from this “gate” were soldiers and unusual beasts from the other world. The Japan Ground Self-Defence Force was sent immediately to repel the forces, and they step through the gate to a “special land.”

Otaku and First Lieutenant Yoji Itami is entrusted with leading the third scouting party, and he assists in turning the tide on the military’s offensive along with investigating the world’s terrain and government. However, one day after saving villagers from a gigantic fire-breathing dragon, he begins a strange journey with beautiful girls from the world, including an enchanting elf, a genius sorcerer, and a gothic demi-goddess.

The curtain opens on a hyper-entertaining fantasy with unprecedented scale!
